Quality Specialist – Brussels

Introduction

We are looking for a specialist in ISO 9001 to join our team in Brussels

Fonction

Quality Management framework

Analysing and mapping the requirements for a simple and effective Quality Management framework.
Aligning and interfacing the framework with other stakeholders, also at client Group level where relevant (i.e. with 50Hertz).
Proposing and validating the framework with a clear timeline and milestones.
Implementing the framework with a strong focus on communication and reporting on the proceedings
Supplier Quality & Qualification

Prepare and support supplier audits, including review of supplier quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001).
Develop, maintain and implement quality control plans for the installation of HV equipment on site by suppliers
Develop and maintain a quality dashboard of suppliers’ factory and site activities based on qualitative feedback and quantitative data (KPIs)
Support the follow‑up of external inspectors and inspection activities. (Mainly Factory & Site Acceptance Tests of transformers, cable systems, …)
Support follow-up of non‑conformities and related action plans based on Return of EXperience (REX) from production, testing & installation.
Documentation, databases and IT Tools

Support the setup and use of document exchange platforms with suppliers during framework agreements. (SharePoint, …)
Ensure correct organizing, publishing and archiving of (mainly technical) documents and data in their relevant tools and structures: document management tools (eDoc, HyperTree, SharePoint, …), asset database (InfraRef), technical information wiki (LegoNet tool)
Processes

Support with mapping , creation and archiving of internal processes at team and department level. (flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, PACI tables, …)
Knowledge and Training

Build and maintain working knowledge of ISO 9001 and its application within client.
Build and maintain working knowledge of process mapping (e.g. SIPOC, BPMN) based on business analyses.

Prérequis

  • Open and curious mindset with an eagerness to learn
  • Affinity with quality- and process-related topics
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Willing and able to visit installations within Belgium
  • Willing and able to travel to suppliers, mainly within Europe
  • Structured way of working and attention to technical detail
  • Ability to work with procedures, templates, and IT tools
  • Technical or engineering education and/or equivalent experience
  • Quality management systems and supplier follow‑up
  • Mapping and creating of business processes
  • High‑voltage / primary system equipment
  • Clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) is required for technical documentation, supplier communication, and internal coordination
  • Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strongly preferred for daily collaboration within client and with local stakeholders
